In fact, the Indian motorcycle market reached ₹80,000 crore in 2023, reflecting a continuous increase in demand, especially for rental services catering to adventure activities like group tours.

Whether you’re exploring Delhi’s bustling streets or setting off on a longer road trip, renting motorcycles for group trips allows you to explore at your own pace. And when you ride together with friends or family, it adds to the excitement of the journey.

The Benefits of Group Motorcycle Tours in Delhi and Beyond

Renting motorcycles for group tours in Delhi isn’t just about exploring the city—it also gives you the opportunity to take longer trips outside the capital. Here’s why group motorcycle tours are such a great choice:

  1. Affordable Group Motorcycle Tours

Renting motorcycles for group trips in Delhi is often cheaper than other modes of transportation. When you rent bikes as a group, you can share the costs, making it much more affordable. Many rental companies offer group discounts, so each rider can pay less.

Most rental agencies also offer all-inclusive prices, covering things like fuel, helmets, and insurance. This transparency makes it easier to know exactly how much you’ll spend, eliminating any unexpected costs.

  1. Freedom to Explore Delhi and Beyond

One of the biggest advantages of renting motorcycles for group trips is the freedom it offers. Whether you’re cruising around Delhi or taking a long road trip, you’re in control of your journey. You can visit famous Delhi landmarks like the Red Fort, India Gate, and Humayun’s Tomb, or head out to nearby cities like Jaipur or Agra.

If you’re up for a longer trip, you can take the bikes to explore the scenic hills of Uttarakhand or the charming town of Rishikesh. Having a motorcycle allows you to explore at your own pace, giving you more freedom than other modes of transport.

  1. Camaraderie and Adventure

Riding together as a group adds an exciting layer to your trip. A motorcycle tour is more than just a way to travel—it’s an opportunity to bond with friends and family while sharing an adventure. Whether you’re navigating the busy streets of Delhi or riding through the peaceful hills, the experience of riding together makes it all the more special.

It’s like taking a road trip with friends in a car, but on two wheels. The shared experiences along the way make for great memories.

Many people rent motorcycles for group trips to mark special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, creating unforgettable moments on the road.

How to Rent Motorcycles for Group Tours in Delhi and Beyond

Ready to hit the road with your friends? Here’s how you can rent motorcycles for your group tour in Delhi:

  1. Choose a Reliable Rental Agency

It’s important to choose a rental agency that’s known for providing quality bikes and excellent service. Many rental companies in Delhi specialize in group motorcycle tours, offering a variety of bikes such as Royal Enfield Himalayans, KTM Dukes, and Bajaj Pulsars.

Check customer reviews and ratings to ensure the company is trustworthy and offers well-maintained bikes. Also, confirm if the company provides safety gear like helmets, knee guards, and gloves.

  1. Pick the Right Bike for Your Trip

The type of bike you rent will depend on your planned trip. For city tours, lighter bikes like the KTM Duke or Bajaj Pulsar are perfect for navigating through traffic. However, if you plan to venture off-road or travel to hilly regions, bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan are better suited, thanks to their strong suspension and off-road capability.

Be sure to choose bikes that align with your trip, whether it’s for exploring the city or taking on a more rugged terrain.

  1. Plan Your Route and Stay Safe

Safety should always be a priority. Whether you’re riding in the city or heading out on a longer road trip, it’s essential that everyone wears proper protective gear. Most rental companies provide helmets and other gear, but it’s always best to confirm this in advance.

Before you begin, plan your route carefully. Some rental agencies offer guided tours with pre-planned routes, but if you’re planning an independent adventure, make sure to research the best routes for your group.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 vs. Royal Enfield Scram 440: Which Adventure Bike is Best for You?

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 vs. Royal Enfield Scram 440

Royal Enfield bikes are known for their strong build and ability to handle tough roads. If you’re someone who enjoys long trips or off-road adventures, you’ve probably heard of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Royal Enfield Scram 440. These two bikes are popular choices for riders who love adventure, but each has something different to offer. Renting a Himalayan 450 on rent or Scram 440 on rent is a great way to try them out without buying one. If you’re in Delhi, Stonehead Bikes offers both bikes for rent. Let’s compare these two bikes to help you decide which one is right for you.

Price and Value for Money

When you’re thinking about renting or buying a bike, price is always important. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 costs about ₹2,85,000 (ex-showroom). This is a bit higher because it has more powerful features and is built for more extreme off-road adventures.

The Scram 440, on the other hand, is priced at ₹2,08,000 (ex-showroom). It’s cheaper and still a great option for city riding and some light off-roading. Renting a Himalayan 450 on rent or Scram 440 on rent gives you the chance to enjoy these bikes without the bigger price tag.

If you’re looking for a bike rental in DelhiStonehead Bikes offers both of these models for rent at reasonable prices. Renting can be a good way to enjoy these bikes for a short period and decide which one works best for you.

Engine and Performance

The Himalayan 450 comes with a 452cc engine that produces 39.47 bhp at 8,000 rpm. This gives it a lot of power, making it a great choice for long rides and tough off-road trails. If you want to ride through mountains or rough paths, the Himalayan has the strength to get you there.

The Scram 440 has a 443cc engine, which makes 25.4 bhp at 6,250 rpm. While it’s not as powerful as the Himalayan, it’s still strong enough for regular city rides and short trips. If you’re looking for a bike that handles daily traffic and some light off-roading, the Scram is perfect.

If you’re not sure which bike suits you, consider renting the Himalayan 450 on rent for a more powerful experience, or try the Scram 440 on rent if you want something more balanced for city use and weekend trips.

Fuel Economy

When you rent a bike, you want to know how much fuel it will use. The Himalayan 450 gives a mileage of about 30 kmpl, which is good for longer rides. With its bigger engine, it can take you farther before you need to stop for fuel.

The Scram 440 gives about 29.5 kmpl, which is pretty close to the Himalayan’s mileage. Even though it’s a little less, it still works well for short trips and city riding. If you’re planning to rent either bike, both options are great for covering a good distance before needing to refuel.

Comfort and Design

Comfort is key when you’re riding long distances. The Himalayan 450 has a seat height of 825mm and a high ground clearance of 230mm, making it perfect for off-roading. It’s designed for taller riders and offers great comfort for long rides. The wider seat and taller height give you a better position for handling tough trails and bumpy roads.

The Scram 440 has a seat height of 795mm, which is lower and better for shorter riders. It’s also more suited for city riding. If you plan to use the bike mostly in the city or for short trips, the Scram might be more comfortable. However, if you’re going on an off-road trip, the Himalayan’s higher seat height and better ground clearance will give you more confidence.

If you’re thinking about renting a bike, try both models to see which one feels better. Renting a Himalayan 450 on rent is a good choice for those planning longer, more rugged rides, while the Scram 440 on rent is better for everyday comfort.

Suspension and Handling

The Himalayan 450 has an advanced upside-down fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. This makes the bike very stable, even on rough terrain. It’s built to handle bumpy, rocky, and uneven roads with ease.

The Scram 440 uses a telescopic front fork and a monoshock rear. This setup is simpler but still provides good stability for everyday roads and light off-roading. If you’re planning to ride on smooth city roads or do some light trail riding, the Scram 440 should be fine. But if you want a bike that can handle tougher off-road challenges, the Himalayan 450 is the better choice.

Both bikes offer great handling for different types of rides, so think about where you’ll be riding the most. Renting a Himalayan 450 on rent is great for extreme off-road rides, while the Scram 440 on rent is a better option for everyday commuting.

Safety Features

Both the Himalayan 450 and the Scram 440 have dual-channel ABS. This helps you stop safely in slippery conditions, which is very important when riding in the rain or on uneven surfaces.

The Himalayan 450 has some added tech features like a 4-inch TFT display with navigation, which can help you on long trips. It also has ride-by-wire technology, making the throttle more responsive and easier to control.

The Scram 440 has a simpler setup with an analogue speedometer and digital odometer. While it doesn’t have the high-tech features of the Himalayan, it’s still very safe and easy to use.

If you want more advanced features and safety options, the Himalayan 450 on rent is the way to go. But if you want a more straightforward, reliable ride, the Scram 440 on rent will get you where you need to go safely.

Conclusion: Which Bike Should You Rent?

Both the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Scram 440 offer something unique. The Himalayan 450 is best for adventure riders who want to tackle tough terrains and go on long-distance trips. Its powerful engine, great suspension, and extra features make it perfect for those who want to push the bike to its limits.

On the other hand, the Scram 440 is a better choice for people who need a bike for everyday use, commuting, and light off-roading. It’s more affordable, comfortable for shorter rides, and still provides enough power for casual adventures.

motorcycle rentalIf you’re in Delhi and looking to rent a bike, Stonehead Bikes offers both the Himalayan 450 on rent and the Scram 440 on rent.
